Description
Inspired by the artist’s past running course through the Houston Heights neighborhoods and along the Heights Boulevard esplanade. Trees have always evoked happy memories of exploring in the woods behind my childhood home.
This mixed-media painting combines encaustic, shellac burn, and image transfers to create stunning visual depth.
