Outstanding Achievement honors at Evanston
I was thrilled to receive an Outstanding Achievement award at the Chicago-area Evanston Art and Big Fork Festival in August. Pictured with me is Amdur Productions President Amy Amdur whom I got to do a Taylor Swift-inspired “What, I won??” face.

France: In the Eye of the Beholder
Two of my encaustics were juried in to this French-themed exhibition in March at The Silos. The jurors were Tracy Xavia Karner, associate professor at the University of Houston; and Hélène Schlumberger of McClain Gallery.

At the VAA 11th Juried Invitational Exhibition
My ‘Golden Tale Spin’, ‘Big Red Velvet Cake’, ‘Di-Hexa Texas Sunset’, and ‘And Then They All Went Their Own Separate Ways’ were all selected to be in the Houston Visual Arts Alliance 11th Juried Invitational Exhibition by juror Lester Marks. The exhibition is at The Silos on Sawyer from Jan 9 through Jan 28, 2017.
