Description
I was experimenting with etching techniques and using an eye dropper for putting encaustic onto my paintings. I had just completed this piece and didn’t have a title for it. As I was working at Archway Gallery the next day I took it in and showed it to a few customers for feedback. Stan the window washer worked that day, saw the piece, loved it, and said it reminded him of the book he had just read “A thousand suns”. That sounded good to me so that’s what I named it.
